NEWS: Bella Ramsey discusses TLOU in New Interview

Bella said it is a "privilege and honor" to land a lead role in the new HBO adaption of the hit video game franchise, The Last of Us.

Bella is currently filming the series in Canada alongside the show's Joel, Pedro Pascal. She said the role "definitely feels like the biggest thing" in her career.

Speaking from Canada, where she is filming for 10 months, Bella - from Leicestershire - said she was on a different set when she heard she got the role. "I was quite glad I was busy and working because it is a big thing. It can be quite overwhelming." 

"The fact that I had work to keep me semi-distracted from it was a good thing. But it is a complete privilege and an honor." 

"Game of Throne was the first thing I did and that was HBO. The same exec Carolyn Strauss on that is also producing this, so it feels like it's come full circle - it's really nice." She added.

The actress, who also starred in the series The Worst Witch, added: "It [The Last of Us] does definitely feel like the biggest thing I have done and I have to not think about that too much as it freaks me out a little bit."

She added: "When I got over here I had two weeks' quarantine alone with my thoughts and I had to not think about the scale of it."

"But when you are on set it's like anything else - the same environment, the same crew."

"There are quite a few fans of the game in the crew and they've said lots of things are very, very similar to the game, lots of the sets feel like they are walking into the video game, so that's good I guess. Apart from that I have to keep a lot of it pretty quiet.

NEWS: First Official Still from The Last of Us Series

A lot was released during The Last of Us day and although Naughty Dog announced that Factions is in the works, what generated the biggest amount of buzz was this still posted about ND and Neil Druckmann.

Our first look at Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie. The show is currently still in production. No release date has been confirmed. 

 

NEWS: Anna Torv cast as Tess for The Last of Us HBO Series

And she's finally here! Many fans were wondering who would be playing Tess and if Tess would even be on the show considering filming has begun and there was no mention of Tess up until now. 

Anna Torv, known for her role in the series 'Fringe' will be playing Tess on the HBO series adaption. Fans are already sending out many positive messages and posts over this cast announcement. We're excited to see her portrayal of this beloved character.

 

NEWS: Jeffrey Pierce added to the cast of The Last of Us Series

According to deadline.com Jeffrey Pierce who plays Tommy in TLOU games is set to appear on TLOU series. On it he will be playing Perry, a rebel in a quarantine zone. 

Two other actors have also been added to the cast list. Murray Bartlett and Con O'Neill. Con is playing Bill and Murray will be playing Frank. This means the show will explore more of Bill and Frank's story.

Gabriel Luna (Tommy) shared this image from the first day of filming for the HBO series adaption. Seen with him are Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Nico Parker (Sarah). 

Judging by the vehicle they're in, it seems this could be the scene when Tommy, Joel and Sarah are driving into the city where the infected have run amuck. 

NEW Merch drops for The Last of Us Part II 1 Year Anniversary

 

Tomorrow marks the 1 year anniversary since The Last of Us Part II released. InsertCoinclothing.com has added to their TLOU clothing line. The additions include, Abby's jacket, Abby's backpack and the adorable t-shirt Yara wears at the aquarium.

NEWS: Gabriel Luna has been cast as Tommy in HBO's The Last of Us Series

 

According to Variety, Gabriel Luna has been cast to play Tommy in the HBO live action television series adaption of The Last of Us. 

Gabriel is known for his roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and True Detective. There are still more characters left to be announced. Filming for the series begins this upcoming July in Canada.

It's official! These two former Game of Thrones stars are our Joel and Ellie in the upcoming HBO series adaption of The Last of Us.

The two took to Instagram with posts about their characters.
